Williams

Williams: BETTER.

Well, this is nice. We haven't even got as far as the final round of testing yet, and already one of the teams has spotted and improved one of the major problems with its livery. Well done, Williams. Well done indeed. [Read More]

Williams’ latest retro livery is… a Brabham?

Well, this is an odd one. I'm still slightly wary of actually calling this the full 2012 Williams livery, because... well, because there's so much of that dark blue, that's usually the preserve of their testing-only liveries. But by the same token... it's got lines on it and stuff, so it is a designed livery, so we can probably assume that this is how the cars are going to roll out at the races. And it's *weird*. New Williams shirt offers hints at livery and sponsors

The announcement today that Bruno Senna is to take up the remaining seat at Williams for 2012 brought with it publicity photos of the Brazilian driver wearing official team gear – and, as can be seen, it’s a brand new shirt: Strange as it may seem, I reckon there’s a lot that we [Read More]

2011 Liveries: The Verdict!

Right, then. We’ve now seen all twelve of 2011’s Formula One liveries. I wanted to wait, before doing the usual summary post, until we’d seen them all running on track in testing – but frankly, from the looks of things we may not see the HRT in motion before Melbourne [Read More]

New Williams livery: just don’t say “Rothmans”

First day of testing sees more cars roll out…

Cor, it’s all very exciting, isn’t it? We’ve had the new Mercedes (of which I won’t bother reposting pictures here, as despite a drastically different chassis shape it’s still the same livery as seen last week), plus an official launch for the Toro Rosso and a quiet [Read More]

2010 Livery Speculation

The 2010 season is looking to be one of the most exciting in years for those of us interested in the changing face of F1 liveries – with four entirely new teams joining the grid, two others rebranding, and at least one other set to change colour scheme as the result of a defunct sponsorship [Read More]

Red Bull! Force India! Williams! Uh… Brawn?

Right, then – let’s round up those missing livery launches, starting with the car driven by my New Favourite Namesake Driver, Seb Vettel, the Red Bull : Everything as you’d expect, here – a tweaking of the usual blue livery with the red/blue/silver corporate lines. Note the [Read More]
