You might want to add Stefan GP to the list of upcoming launches Seb. They have a test scheduled for February 25th. I just can’t believe that Stefan GP looks as though it’s actually going to materialise, a couple of months ago it seemed like a big joke.

Anyway, I hope they are more imaginative with their livery than their current logo, which has to be the most unimaginative logo ever created:

I think the Yorkshire rose is actually being included on front wing centre struts, rather than this pattern on the rest of the car. It’s almost an easter egg image. Anyway, you can’t see it in these launch photos.

At least they used black instead of grey, which makes this livery look at least 50% more interesting than the Midland. I’m not a big fan of the pattern on the sides of the nose, but other than that, I think it looks terrific, especially compared to some of the other liveries, and I like the Yorkshire rose pattern very much.

I think Ed is right, it’s the Lancashire rose or something like that. Pehaps it’s just a temporary thing until they get some more sponsors.

I give this livery the thumbs up! Ok, so they’ve copied from the ’06 Midland a bit, but I liked that car so that’s not really a problem. Plus, while many small teams create liveries with a mish mash of naff sponsors and contrasting colours, Virgin have kept the livery nice and tidy, and it looks very classy as a result.

In regards to the pattern you mention, I’m not 100% sure, but I think it links back to some sort of floral design associated with Manor, possibly a manor flower or something like that.

Someone else probably knows more about it than me though.
