It’s a bit bland. I don’t hate it, I don’t love it. I like the burgundy but it being only on the back of the car is stupid. The stripes are nice. It’s also looking very bare, with 2017’s departure of Silanna and Banco do Brasil.

Kind of reminds me of a burgundy version of 2010-2013.

I have always liked Sean’s designs. I can’t see the link between Erickson and Petterson’s helmets though. If only the Alfa red was on the top of the monocoque too we would have a beauty.

Due respect, but I’ve always found Sean Bull designs a bit overrated. His liveries are always too flashy, too metallic, and just don’t feel like the real thing at all. And Ericsson’s helmet is just as boring and pointless as Ericsson’s continued presence in Formula-1 itself. No design can help that.

I haven’t yet seen your article about the Renault – which as as a car is a bit disappointing to some, but wanted to note that Sean Bull likely won’t be doing much work for Sauber,as he announced on twitter today that he starts working at Renault F1 PR, come March!
