Okay so, after having seen two races, it’s become clear that the pink is very light and shows up on my TV screen as white from a distance. I really think they should make it a little more saturated, so it stands out more.

Haas are sponsored the same way the Red Bull and Toro Rosso are, by the parent company who make CNC machines and tooling for manufacturing. You are definitely right about the blue on Force India, it looks really out of place.

Love the pink. I do think the blue logo is a little outstanding on the car, but overall it looks really cool. Also, haha, haas needs more sponsors. I know Gene Haas himself said he doesn’t need any right now, but he may want some for next year?

I think the matte pink will look quite good. What I don’t like though is the magenta and grey swooshes – completely unnecessary and cheapen the whole thing. (The bubbles could be done better too, spot gloss with no artwork underneath for instance, but I guess that’s BWT’s thing)

Shame it’s not a bit more vibrant, as you say. Hopefully the real version will look a bit better.

The only bit I’m really bothered by is the drivers apparently taking on pink helmets as part of the deal. I mean it’s hard enough picking out separate cars due to tiny race numbers as it is.

Well said Patrick, I fully agree.

Also, I read somewhere else (f1fanatic.co.uk) someone who said he liked the combination too because it didn’t seem to take itself so serious – while that is probably wrong for the PR person who thought up the livery, I think that is a good, fun, impression to give for a sport that aims to entertain too, and I quite like the notion!
