If I’m remembering correctly they jumped in after Button’s famous “You’ve built me a monster of a car” quote on team radio in Turkey as a helmet sponsor. Not sure if it extended past his helmet though.

I could be wrong but I’m convinced Monster’s sponsorship of F1 started earlier than 2010 – I have a very distinct memory of their logo appearing on top of Jenson Button’s helmet in 2009. That could have been a personal sponsorship rather than a team one though.
