1: Williams “With Martini as a title sponsor, this is considered as the best livery of 2014.”
2: Mercedes “The most dominant car of 2014. The white circle on the race numbers are gone, and I honestly like the black bit on the engine cover and the turquoise bit is really changed but the Petronas font isn’t different.”
3: McLaren (Australian livery) – “I call it as Kevin Magnussen’s best F1 car ever – the 2014 Australian GP was the best F1 GP of 2014 for me. It really looks better with the black bits.”
4: Red Bull – “I really like the livery, the purple makes it look good for F1.”
5: Ferrari – “With the Italian stripe being moved from the front nose onto the engine cover, it still looks good, but it would be better if the stripe was filling the whole engine cover.
6: Force India – “White isn’t the team’s base colour of their 2014 car, instead being black. I like the car with the orange sidepods which sadly were seen from Australia to Bahrain.”
7: Caterham – “The launch livery was great-looking but the white and light green stripes looks better for me, to be honest.”
8: Sauber – “It isn’t facelifted at all (BTW no offence Sauber), but it’s OK. At least there’s no Telcel but there’s no sponsor on the sidepod…”
9: Toro Rosso “A not-dull Toro Rosso”
10: Marussia “Not Much Facelifted”
11: Lotus – “Why a Lotus with more red bits? Comparing this with the last year’s car, the red bits are on the monocoque, sidepods, airbox and then on the rear wing…Maybe in favour of PDVSA’s main colours, I think?…”

McLaren with new sidepod sponsor at each races, Lotus and Force India with black sidepod in China…

The Lotus is the worst and there is too much red, of which why stick with the JPS scheme, this is crying out for a Gold Leaf makeover! Top half Rad, bottom half white and gold stripes along the border.

Goes to show it’s all subjective- though I do agree with many of your comments and ratings!

Teams don’t get it that large racing numbers are cool to young fans, which are the future…
